The Launchkey app looks custom built to work with the keyboard - 8 knobs, automapped etc. The Launchkey Hardware will work with Groovebox to play the keyboard, and deeper harder support is planned. In addition has swift 4 framework, with song sections, Link, Drums, etc etc. The synth engine in Groovebox took us 2 years to make, and is the foundation of our tech. The synth in Groovebox is a vastly superior engine. I can only encourage users to switch to the free Groovebox download. So the Launchkey app will no longer receive any updates, and will be removed from the App Store shortly. Surprised the keyboard doesn’t connect to Blocs Our plan all along has been to replace Launchkey app with Groovebox. Your app hasn’t been updated for over two years to work with your current Launchkey range, so long overdue an update. I bought one of your Launchkey keyboards, and amazingly it doesn’t work with the app. I hope that fact that it is free to download encourages this. ![]() In the end it's all about the music.Said: - Any chance of a fix for your Launchkey app? Next try if I will keep going the Ableton route or Apple updates Garageband desktop with proper Live Loops and gets me total hijacked. So now I use Garageband (drummer ie) or MainStage as my workstation synthesizers/DAW. I love the simplicity and satisfaction from working with headphones in the couch but as most I use garageband less and less feel Blocs as main app. I ended buying a Mac mini once again to prepare a bit more the ALS (and bored of get something similar and useful in the iPad realm) so now I can go even further. This is most how I use Blocs Wave since day one and what makes me keep it in my iPad even left users in the dust.įor me the most important feature is Ableton export due I share my projects with the studio through cloud (dropbox or whatever) and the mixing guy can send me back stems or whatever.
